The Millennium is the newest of the Vilamoura courses and hence the name opened in 2000. The architect is Martin Hawtree and the course is destined to become one of the most attractive courses in Portugal built to date. It lies within a beautiful natural setting of pine trees and countryside.

Although the Millennium has some of the tightest holes in the Algarve, there are very few tricky situations. Maybe the exception is the par 3 on hole 6, where the lake to the left of the fairway waits for any straying shots.

The difficulties are real enough but never impossible to get around and therefore suits golfers of all abilities.

Handicap requirements:- Men 24, Ladies 36.

Facilities include:- Driving Range, Putting Green, Restaurant, Bar and Golf Shop.
