Golden Eagle Golf Course

Location:- Lisbon, Portugal. 18 holes Par 72 6203 yards.

Designed by Rocky Roquemore in 1994, this course is situated 60 Kilometres north of Lisbon and is framed by a landscape dominated by the beautiful local Flora - stone pines, eucalyptus, mimosas and acacias.

There are some very well defended greens and visible difficulties and on the first part of the course look out for hole number 6 - a par 4 at which the second shot has to be played over some trees that have been strategically placed in the middle of the fairway.

On the inward round, hole number 12 presents an interesting challenge, with the second shot having to be played over water onto a shallow green in order to complete a par 4.

The Golden Eagle Golf and Country Club was one of the most exclusive courses in Portugal before it was opened to the general public in 1997.

Handicap requirements:- Men 28 Ladies 36

Facilities include:- Driving Range, Putting Green, Restaurant, Bar and Golf Shop.
